Situation
Drones make it easier to travel when the land is difficult to cross. Today you’ll use the drone to take off on one side of the canyon and land on the other.
Challenge
Program the drone to take off, travel 5 ft across the “canyon” and land.
Rules
- Students and drones cannot occupy the same space. Drone stay on one side of the cones, humans on the other.
- Be respectful when flying the drone, do not hit anyone, or anything with the drone.
- Keep the drone in it’s cage at all times.
Materials
- Use the DroneBlocks chrome extension to program your drone
- Grab a drone from the front of the classroom
- Grab a battery from the “Charged” battery pile, if you need another battery place the old one in the “Dead” battery pile.
